Sunrise pink 3

Description

This piece was originally inspired by pebbles on the beach at Findhorn in Scotland. The rich and varied colours and textures lend themselves well to beads. After making some more neutral coloured beads , I was commissioned to make one with bright pinks and oranges. It is surprisingly light although it looks like stone, as it is basically made from paper. it is 18″ long, a length I find ideal, and it hangs beautifully.
