ELEANOR ALLITT
BA Textile Design, Central St Martins, London
My work is about freedom within rich abundance.
I seek to draw attention to this infinitely rich habitat. Colour, texture and pattern are important aspects in all that I do. I often make use of discarded material such as old fragments of fence panel, or, for collage, old sketches and scribbles.
Birds are part of this amazing diversity, they show us what a rich and varied world we all live in.
I use collage including jelli-printing, drawings and stencils and a wide range of techniques, which all combine to show the immense richness of our environment.
I am open for commissions, eg particular birds, and those associated with conservation.
I often work with fragments, for I believe our memories are often found in the small details, so these fragments serve as little glimpses into the past.
Coming up shortly
I shall be showing my work at the Leamington Studio Artists Gallery in the Royal Priors, Leamington 1st – 13th December 2025.
