Enjoy a day of experimentation with textures, where you will discover simple ways to give atmosphere and depth to your work.
We will explore with washes, methods of resist, and various tools to produce very free textural patterns during the course of which, lettering can be incorporated. In particular I will give demonstrations on how to produce the illusion of very aged backgrounds which look as if they have been excavated from antiquity. It is a day for making all kinds of mess and arriving at something different, surprising, and repeatable.
