This very beautiful book is filled with outstanding illustrations. They tell the story of a woman's search for balance and wholeness. It is a journey poignantly relevant to us today. Her tale was originally written on clay tablets with a reed pen around 2,500BC and comes from an area which is now Iraq, her birthplace was near present day Basra. The journey she undertakes to the underworld requires enormous courage and perseverance. Bit by bit her identity is dismantled as she descends into ever-increasing darkness, but then after a desperate turn of events, she returns to the Great Above, her consciousness has been shifted into a new dimension. This profound story is about finding equilibrium between the masculine and the feminine.
